I used to write as “Mr. Cheap” on Money Smarts Blog (before that it was “Four Pillars” and before that, it was “Financial Security Quest”). The owner (Mike Holman) hasn’t renewed the SSL certificate, so you may get an error when you go to the site. It’s safe to visit, but if you’re uncomfortable connecting to it, you can see the site through archive.org.
You can see all my posts (apparently there are 189 of them) through a Google search on the site: https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Ahttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.moneysmartsblog.com%2F+Mr.+Cheap
I intentionally took a very informal, conversational tone. We were operating the site ourselves and weren’t overly concerned about occasional typos or maintaining a corporate ‘tone’. I can adjust this for whatever is appropriate for your site.
